We have established a wide range of community-based and group activities, Which include partnership with different organisations. We provide opportunities to service users aged 16+ and all ability levels. Our sessions are all about having fun, staying active and building confidence. A great opportunity to make new friends, and enjoy a happy and healthy life!
Giving our clients a voice - We actively welcome and encourage suggestions from our clients on suitable activities and projects to try. Ensuring that they are varied and interesting. We are strong believers in supporting and encouraging life skills and asking our service users to volunteer with small chores, aiding their individual development. Our staff are always on hand to provide support when needed.

About Us
Live a Little is open 50 weeks a year and service users can attend up to 5 days a week, depending on personal budgets. A standard day session is 6 hours, Monday to Friday. Transportation is provided within a 15 mile radius from the day centre; services users outside this radius can be accommodated for an additional cost.
Minibus transportation, activities/projects/work experience and all refreshments included in the sessional cost. We will on occasion give our service users the option to contribute an additional supplement towards an activity to broaden opportunities. Service provision is contractual, terms & conditions apply.

We provide Day Service, Respite, Evening Clubs and Weekends.
We are all about fun, building confidence and forming real friendships. Our newly revamped centre is packed with gaming options (PlayStation, Wii, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, VR and more). Plus, we have outdoor swimming pool and a large garden area.
At Live a Little, we are here to help you to live life to the fullest, promoting independence and happiness in everything we do.
Live A Little is a specialist day service dedicated to providing support and care for adults with learning difficulties and special needs. While based in Roydon, Live A Little serves clients from a wider area, including Hertfordshire, Essex, and Enfield.
Live A Little is committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment where clients can feel safe and supported. Our aim is to empower individuals with learning difficulties and special needs to live fulfilling lives and participate fully in their communities.
What makes us different?
At Live A Little, clients can participate in a wide range of activities designed to promote social interaction, skill development, and independence. These include arts and crafts, sports and fitness, cooking and baking, music and dance, and much more.
To help support and encourage life skills we ask that our clients volunteer to help with small chores to improve individual development. This means that our clients contribute by:
Shopping for the weekly meals
Help to cook meals
Tidy the kitchen, dining and communal areas of our centre
Help with welcoming visitors with tea and coffees
These tasks are voluntary and supported by staff at all times. Our aim is to help development of life skills and encourage team work and inclusion.

Live a little Extra & Evening Clubs is offered on a non-contractual, flexible basis in addition to our day service. We provide an array of different activities during the evenings and weekends.

How it works

We are excited to announce the launch of our respite service. This is available to all service users of Live A little. Set in the same grounds as our day service, we have the facility to accommodate 3 service users at a time for overnight and weekend stays.
This service will be aimed at providing individuals with the opportunity to stay away from home in a familiar setting with their peers. We will provide service users with additional opportunities and activities to participate in. Packages will be available, with stays of 3,4 and 7 nights available. Bespoke packages can be discussed with our team to meet our clients individual requirements. Bookings can be made via our booking system below please email respite@livealittle.org.uk for any further information.
